I hate shopping. Online shopping has become my best friend. My only problem is that when I am trying to shop for other people, I can't help but want a million things for myself. And I'm quite sure I don't NEED these things but I can sure convince myself that I do. I hate to admit it but I am a Buzzfeed junkie...and their shopping posts do nothing but tempt me!
I am currently trying to Christmas shop and see all these things I must have ! When it was Cyber Monday recently, what did I do? Ya I bought myself a new Michael Kors purse instead of buying gifts for my family. Giant fail!
I have less than 2 weeks to get ready for Christmas. I think I can pull it off, I always do but I need to remind myself that it's about giving right now...not receiving! It's hard when my kids are no longer little and when they want something, they just go buy it. They are so hard to shop for when they don't ask for anything.
I'm making an effort to get at least half, if not more of the gifts from our local stores. I am not a big fan of supporting Amazon but it's hard when it's so damn convenient.
